this is the case... the swedish government or what every you might call them... anyway they say the all swedes (in sweden) will get a vaccine againt svine flue... ok thats.. awesome but how in the hell are we going to give 9000000 people a vaccine when almost can't affort to buy it?

As far as I know everyone has healthcare in Sweden just like in Norway. You have to pay for these extra vaccines though, but it's close to nothing, maybe $25.

I'm gettin' one soon. Walgreen's sells 'em for about $25. It's cheaper than missing two or three weeks of work, or a hospital visit.

I'm gettin' a (regular) flu shot like I've done every year since my freshman year in college. (except for the year where there was a shortage...and of course I got the flu that year)

I have to wait for October 1st to get mine, though. Here in Oklahoma you have to wait 'til then or get a prescription to get it earlier. I hafta wait. I can't afford to be sick for several days at a time, and besides that, I can't stand being sick at all. I'll be headin' to Walgreens on the first with my $25 in hand.

I'm still on the fence about getting the swine flu vaccine. I'd like to put it off at least long enough to see if any of the 'guinea pigs' are gonna have any bad side effects from the vaccine itself.

The only thing I know of the insurance companies in the US is what I have read on here and when I watched the michael moore doco.
Sounds like a good earner for the fatcats.

I had last year work off because I got sick from my job.Govt system paid me 80% of my wages,got discounted Dr's bills and they paid for me to go on some courses to help find a new career.

I don't think it's a big deal, my Wife got hers already and aside from some odd squeelin' and rollin around in the yard she didn't have any wierd side effects...
