Found an ad in a local online classified for a Roland S-10 Sampling Keyboard and a Korg M1R music workstation. Anyone who knows about the Korg M1R know it's a pretty nifty piece of kit, the keyboard however is nothing more to me than a set of midi keys, the S-10 leaves lots to be desired as far as keyboards/synths go!

Anyway back to the story, the ad says $50 so I call up the nice lady and we agree to meet, when I get there she says the stuff is old and she is unsure if it still works and that I could have it for free, "you must take something for it" I insist, she declines.

So I get the gear home and yeah it's not working right but a battery, a few cold solder joints an hot damn if this stuff didn't come back to life.

Woo Hoo... 80's synths are cool!
