it's happy because I'm single and it's payday!! I don't have to buy chocolates, jewelry or an expensive dinner... weeeeeeee!

My wife and I got each other the same card. First time in 20 years that we've done it.

My wife left a card for me on the computer. She called me after I emailed her our wedding photo today ( She's at work, I'm going to work, then the dentist....! ).

She had found the card among my mother's possessions that we acquired this past summer. My mom died almost ten years ago, and never gave the card to anyone, It was new, unused.
So it was nice to hear my wife tell me the story behind how she got this valentine's card.

My daughter and I left a motion activated talk box on the kitchen table this morning so when Sally ( Wifey ) got up she heard our voices saying " Happy Valentine's Day "!

I actually got my wife a card......which is a miracle in its self...I believe that if you can't say it yourself you shouldn't say it at all...so the card was funny as opposed to romantic.....she liked it...it was so "Me"

mmmmmm very nice. This is the first Valentine's Day that I have been single in my whole teen and 20's life. I'm 29 tomorrow. This has been my favorite Valentine's Day ever. Seriously! Does this make me a Scrooge/Grinch etc.?? I don't care I love this!!

Well I know I'm single. The first thing I thought of when I saw happy VD was Venereal disease. I guess I really do hate my X at the moment HAHAH.

Edit: No I don't have one. I got test. My X on the other hand, its hard to say by now.... she gets around fast...

And +1 on that. I think Val day is stupid even when I'm not single. I never give flowers when they're expected. Maybe thats why I'm single

When I wasn't single, I was always the "you're getting flowers because it's wednesday" not because it's "marketed holiday". Sometimes it backfired, but when it worked, oh boy, did it work *WINK*

there are shots for that nowadays.

I was in a gas station, the cashier (she) didn't look too happy. Nothing I did or said ... I think. A colleague comes in, I over hear the two of them talking "Chris didn't get me any roses yet, that's why I'm in a bad mood"

I was thinking as I walked out "Poor Chris, I can't decide if he's stupid or very smart, but either way, he ain't getting any for a while".
