Being home sick with the flu sucks!!

The past several days I felt like my head was about to explode, had a hard time breathing, my stomach was aching and couldn't eat normal, and my entire body was aching. I was stuck in bed most of the time watching whatever was on the Military/History/NG/ID channels.

Only recently I've started feeling a little better after taking zithromax and a bunch of painkillers. Ugh!

Anyway, it's good to be back on MLP!!

Hopefully you'll be back to 100% soon. I've been lucky, haven't gotten the flu in a few years, almost forgot how awful it is.

dude im in the SAME boat however since i smoke so much (mind you im only 23) I was hospitalized yesterday after 14 days of being sick and the last 4 days i wasn't responding to antibiotics and had a fever of 102 for 3 days straight! lol so yea I'm home for the next 4 days as per the doctor requested

im chillin at home.. but i feel like ass still (better though) im on 4 medications! I have the same symptoms as you and a little more

hope ya feel better man!!!

Sorry to hear your sick... I just now back to normal and work after being down for most of the last month between cellulitis and then some kind of flu virus... what a pain in the butt... you are so right... it does suck... but it will get better, just give it time and take all your meds, etc.

Man ive had like 5 flu snortings this year ( the army no long gives flu shots to males, they have this needleless syringe and the shoot the liquid up ur nose and you snort .... it gives you the worst head ache you could even think up...

sucks that you guys got sick, get well soon!

I finally seem to be over whatever it was that stomped my ass 4 weeks ago. Up until 2 days ago, I was still phlegmy from it.

My best friend and his wife got it, too. Appears that jr brought it home from daycare. I think it was a nasty cold, as I never got any high-grade fever.

more germs in one day than bio lab!

I was on my ass all weekend, went to Doc-In-The-Box this morning...tested + for influenza. Got a bunch of medicine, went home, my 82 year old mom came over to take care of me (isn't that sweet!). Glad she did, because after I took some codeine, I passed out so she called 911 - three minutes later, my house was full of firemen. The got me straightened out and left, but now I feel like I got bludgeoned with a cricket bat...oh, the horror...Must stay home for next three days.

Little kids have way stronger immune systems than adults, cause ya know, they're all germy. Anyway, over the past holiday season, my niece got some nasty bug that only got her sick for a day. Being around her, I got the same bug, except it ravaged me for an entire week...diarrhea and all...I was spray painting 5 times a day...not my idea of a jolly time...
