Re: The Official Thread of Knowledge/Trivia

Many of you know this, but:

Whose seat did Stevie Ray Vaughan take on the helicopter in which he died(or, who would have died had SRV not taken his place)?

Re: The Official Thread of Knowledge/Trivia

Close...Clapton actually gave his seat to SRV because Stevie felt ill after their concert and wanted to go back to Chicago by air instead of driving back with brother, Jimmy Vaughan. Clapton's manager, publicist and bodyguard died with SRV. Don't you think Clapton is still freaked out even 18 years later...

No clue, man. I'm stumped on that one...

I had to Google Hamilton...good question. Interesting guy. He sure knew how to piss someone off, though.

dam if that don't sound way to much like what happend to buddy holly, richie valens, and jp richardson.i think it was waylon jennings(who was playig bass for holly) who gave up his seat to richie valens because valens was sick and couldn't face another long ride in february on a freezing tour bus with no heater.

Re: The Official Thread of Knowledge/Trivia

How many licks (on average) does it take to get to the center of a Tootsie Pop?

(There has been a study, and there are answers)

In case of any war, Germany should first conquer France and then move on. (I did thesis on the Origins of WWI)

Ha, that's funny. I live on Buchanan St. He was also the only president that didn't have a first lady. All the streets are named after presidents in my neighborhood.

Nope, not West Virginia. They were two border states that never left the Union.

Good job Siroliver. Kentucky and Missouri never left the Union, but they were represented as the 12th and 13th stars on the Confederate flag.
