I have something I wanted to share with you guys here at MLPF. I got asked to play out at Bass Lake Festival on Saturday July 25th on the Main Stage 3:15pm-4:00pm, and since I am not in a band right now I put together this Student Band.
![]() We just had our first practice today and I gotta say I was blown away by how good these guys jammed. I have seen some adults that could not play together as a group as good as these guys did for the short amount of time they have been playing. The Guitarist is 12 (studiofire), the Bass player (bassplayer11D) is 11 and the Drummer is 14, all their ages combined don't even add up to my age of 48 ![]() Our set list is going to be something like this.... 1. 8th note rock ( original instrumental) 2. sunshine of your love-cream 3. TNT-ac/dc 4. living after midnight-judas preist 5. another brick in the wall part II-pink floyd 6. killing floor-howlin wolf 7. rambling on my mind-clapton version 8. taking care of business-bto 9. dirty deeds-ac/dc 10.wild thing-hendrix version 11. can't always get what you want-rolling stones 12. all along the watchtower-hendrix version Pics are of us set-up in my front window, we had a lot of people checking us out from the sidewalk out front. Some of these songs we are doing as instrumentals and some of them I will being singing on. ![]() ![]()

It's kinda funny, I used to be in a band with the person who is providing the pa for this show. So these kids will be playing on some of the same gear I used in a lot of the local clubs around here

Re: Jonesy's School of Rock Student Band
He has a full sized Blue Yamaha bass he started out with and when he was looking for a new bass I pointed him towards Fenders.
