2 songs...Same sound
Wile I was at my friends house yesterday I herd a Offspring song..that was not like there other stuff at all..it was great!!!!
HOWEVER!!! I really thought it was close to mad world...
Weard how songs do that sometimes...So I thought it would be cool for others to show some songs they thought sounded like another. So post up

I dig some of Offsprings stuff.
Did you know that Dexter Holland has a Masters degree in molecular biology? I think The Offspring is just his cash cow so he can do whatever he wants in life. We're talking about one smart dude here. |

Lol.. "not like their other stuff".. you mean, "Not like their new radio friendly pop garbage, with the monotone lyrics and ridiculous hooks."
Yeah, Offspring used to be quite good.. "Pretty Fly for a White Guy" was the beginning of the end for them I think.. once they had a taste of the Top 40 millions, they were history. Back on the topic of 2 songs that sound the same... Coldplay's "Clocks" and "Speed of Sound". WTF..

I think that Come Out and Play was actually the beginning of the end. You'll notice that it didn't fit with ANY other song on Smash. Everything else on that album rocked pretty good, then there's this f***ing pop song... wtf? I think that was their way of testing the waters for a crossover into mainstream pop radio. In the years since that album came out, we've heard nothing but nasally, annoying, simplistic and repetitive pop crap from them on the radio. $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

Just today I was listening to my PowerSlave CD by Maiden and while one of the songs was playing, I was singing HolyDiver by Dio right along with it...
