Hey Ace , Thanks for helping the children of St Judes Hospital !! I'm sorry but I can't send everyone a reciept but your cancelled check will be your reciept !! Actually I believe you can claim up to $500 in charitable contributions each year without any reciept !! Good Luck in the contest !!

Of course when I last spoke to you and mentioned that Sgt. Pepper's pickups were on the way to me, I forgot that the men in black like to keep hold of them for up to 2 weeks before I get them. They get all nervous about things that have coils around what the x-ray machine thinks is semtex.

WOW !!!! ....... I cant believe what i'm looking at !! I just recieved a donation so impressive I had to look at the amount on the check about 3 or 4 times before I really believed it !!! Mission

The mission of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital is to find cures for children with catastrophic illnesses through research and treatment.

Research Focus

Research efforts are directed at understanding the molecular, genetic and chemical bases of catastrophic diseases in children, identifying cures for such diseases and promoting their prevention. Research is focused specifically on cancers, acquired and inherited immunodeficiencies and genetic disorders.

Current Research

The current basic and clinical research at St. Jude includes work in gene therapy, bone marrow transplant, chemotherapy, the biochemistry of normal and cancerous cells, radiation treatment, blood diseases, resistance to therapy, viruses, hereditary diseases, influenza, pediatric AIDS and psychological effects of catastrophic illnesses.

St. Jude also conducts long-term biostatistical investigations on its patients and is the only pediatric research hospital supported by a National Cancer Institute cancer center support grant.

Hello MLP members .. I have an exciting contest to tell you all about !! The MLP Tesla coil winders group is ready to announce it's first project !! The first team of pickup winders to be featured is Wolfetone pickups and WB pickups !! Two winders that by themselves make great pickups , But by combining the musical genius of these two gentlemen I would expect the tones to be nothing short of astonishing !! Since both winders are on the verge of stardom and neither may ever work together again !! These will probably be collectors items !!
The contest proceeds will go to benefit St Judes Childrens Research Hospital ! An amazing hospital with branches all over the USA that helps children with terminal diseases of all sorts , From cancer stricken children to those suffering with terminal blood disorders , etc !! No child that comes to St Judes in need of medical care is refused on the basis of financial inability ( In english ... No patients are turned away because they can't pay !! ) ... That's were this charity contest comes in , Because in order to provide that care to these families in need St Judes needs your donations !!!! Don't think of the money your sending as just entries into a contest to win great pickups , Think of it as money that will help children suffering everyday of their lives and may save some lives !!!!! At the bottom of this page there will be a list of links , In this list will be St Judes website , So you can see for yourselves the great things they do ! As well as the links to the websites of the pickup makers that will be producing excellent pickups for us to raffle off , Please take a look at the websites for both Wolfetone and WB !! Without their generosity and cooperation , None of this would be possible ! Thanks in advance guys !!
Now for how this Charity Contest works , For every $10.00 donation to St Judes Children Hospital , You will recieve 1 entry into the contest ! For every 5 entries made you will recieve 1 free !!! So a donation of $30 gets you 3 entries but a donation of $50 will get you 6 ! There will be 3 sets of pickups donated by Wolfetone & WB pickups .. So that's 3 chances to win !!! Hey bobbo are you able to release the amount of money that has bin classified? also I’m trying desperately to get some in but it doesn’t look good, paypal doesn’t work atm and if it did mother wouldn’t allow me giving my money away, she’s more of a "put it in the bank to buy a car" person, and cause u don’t accept cash and I don’t have a check book, doesn’t look to good I’m afraid sorry everyone)

Hey Diz , If you need to send a small cash donation through the mail , I will write the check out for it here on my end !!! Every lil bit counts !!!!! As for the amount collected so far for St Judes , I would release the amount but I dont want people to stop donating because they feel we already met a realistic goal for this event ! Plus i'd like to surprise the forum with the final donation amount at the end !! Let's just say that so far the MLP Pickups for Charity Project is doing well !!!!!!

From very reliable sources I've heard Will & Wolfe are probably gonna use WB's 1967 wire !! Those 6707 sets Will makes go for around $500 , So if you win a set of the pickups from this contest I would think their worth alot more than Will's 6707 sets !! Get some entries in today !!!!!!
