MLP Guitar: A POLL....

The build has taken a little longer than planned; of course perfection takes time, and when you get the best guys in the business it's not going to happen in a week. Artists....

With that in mind, please look at the poll. Thanks!

Wait please. This is a bad xxx Axe! Don't rush it, allow time for perfection. I don't think anyone is in a hurry.

Do it right the first time

If it takes another 6 months...

I don't even have a ticket, but would like to see it done to perfection.

Re: MLP Guitar: A POLL....

Well I guess for a nitro finish you'd need to keep it in a booth for a month or two at least as it cures... Would be pretty expensive to keep that running if you weren't refinishing guitars constantly. Hadn't really thought of that... used to poly.

Re: MLP Guitar: A POLL....

I've waited this long for my new guitar, why not let it be perfect when I win it?

Seriously, as long as there are new photos along the way, I couldn't care less.

reading back to the original thread, it's supposed to be aged too. right? i wouldn't want this guitar slammed out. i mean look at the players involved in this, this guitar is really a cool part of guitar history. how many other builders do this stuff, collaborate on one guitar. wow!

Give me Nitro, or give me death!

(I don't really want death, but I'd rather have it raw than with poly...!)

NITRO RULES!

To be honest with you, I'm not even sure why this is a question. Was someone complaining? If so, give them their flippin' money back and cancel their tickets. It will just increase my chances of winning. And since I want my guitar done right, take all the time you need guys!

By all means finish it right but start a new build to keep us salivating. I'll pony up again. (By the way, I voted the opposite way just to be a Dick)

the MLP guitar is an undertaking by some of the most talented artisans and luthiers in the business(well maybe except for greg who begged to have a part.......i keed, i keed) giving of their own time and NO compensation to make a friggin phenomenal guitar. ALL proceeds go back into supporting the forum to which most of us are thoroughly addicted. so what if it takes longer!! who cares!! watch the progress in the build thread, buy some tickets and when its done, some lucky sob will win a guitar!! until then if you dont like the way its being handled, leave the forum and stfu!!!! my .02
