Wink Edit: Women (and men) and microphones...

I have these saved on my PC and figured they must come from somewhere so I did a search on youtube and here they are - enjoy!

Not trying to make fun of women's technical abilities or unabilities - honest!

Should I look for men's failures?

And who hasn't confused a microphone with a telephone?

and I use me mobile (cell) phone as an alarm clock. A few times the alarm has gone off after a late night & I put the phone to my ear saying hello, who's there, say something dammit.....

Re: Are women really too dumb for technical things?

Men and women are wired differently....men are better at some things, and women are better at some things. We all need each other's strengths. Men are (generally speaking) better at technical stuff, but women are much better at multitasking. A man may be better at doing one thing, but a woman can do many more things at the same time. We evolved into these roles many centuries ago, and you can't deny nature.

Amanda has a better grasp on technology than I do. She is also the only individual I can ride with, while she's driving, that doesn't make me a nervous wreck.

Re: Are women really too dumb for technical things?

My wifes hilarious- Shes a wiz at most things, and usually can fix anything. She even tiles all the kitchen counters and put a tile splash on our garden tub (which I wasnt allowed to help with..lol).
But I brought a clock in the house that makes different bird sounds and hung it on the wall, she swore we had a bird in the house until I let her in on it. Then, every time a phone rings on TV, she says "Your phone is ringing". I almost have to get in an argument with her that its the TV, not my phone...LMAO

Bubby is the perfect woman. She loves guitars. She loves the same music that I love. She knows gadgets better than me, and she can drive! I went through some silly sluts before I found her though.

Re: Are women really too dumb for technical things?

No, I think women can be extremely competent when it comes to technology; it's just they don't seem to be as attracted to it as men.

I'm in my fourth year concentrating in Management Information Systems for my BBA degree. The majority of my classes are 85% male and yes it's pretty depressing if you think about it from my perspective. But some of the women in the class are extremely bright.

It's probably cultural mentality that repels women from technology not some kind of innate inability.

The Woman i was with before i met and Married Maria was a useless Physcotic,Violent,Lying Slut, not a Bole kinda Slut, she really was a Slut.Maria on the other hand, she`s great with Guitar Wiring and just about everything else Guitar related, she has some great Chops, she knows how to handle a Gun.She has done some exquisite Marquetry work on some very expensive pieces of Furniture. And above all she`s a great Mother to my little Angel Daughter. So i guess i`ve seen both sides of the Coin.

Seems people are doing that quite a bit on here lately.Maybe they need to start looking at the lighter side of things, which is what the title of this threat is intended

Re: Are women really too dumb for technical things?

My girl and I are so different on many levels that I'm probably dumb for a lot of things too. Talk DIY topics, like home repairs and parts with her, she would tend to miss the terms completely (in a cute way I find funny). But when it comes to people skills, I'll probably stutter, piss someone off, be taken advantaged of by other people... but she'll be smooth and talk her way in and out of things. She gets her way, but she considers how I feel and knows how to make me happy. She's pretty smart and witty that I let her do the talking sometimes.

But still, it's funny sometimes how clueless she is with tech stuff. And I bet she gets a kick also out of how I handle people in general.

Perhaps a subtle change in thread title? I'd love to see the FAIL vids of women too. All in good fun, nothing too offensive though.
