The kid who wanted to peel it's parents skin off would have been living somewhere else.

That's the bit of the movie where everyone says "Oh C'mon man! The kid just threatened to skin you! GTFO!"

The ones that seem to be referencing past life experiences - Dying in a fiery wreck, or being killed in an attempted rape... Those were the really freaky ones to me.

Re: The Creepiest Things a Child Has Ever Told It's Parents

When I was around 4, I was playing in the living room and my mom sitting next to me. At some point, I stopped playing and stood up. Very seriously, I told her "I am here to take care of him." My mom was surprised, to say the least, and she asked, "Who, dear?". I responded, "My son...well, he used to be my son. Now hes my Dad." I smiled at her and sat down on the floor and proceeded with my games.

I have no recollection of this, my mom told me a few years ago.

Yup. having small kids myself none of the rest is really all THAT bizarre. (Kids are deeply weird, and have an odd sense of morbid curiosity that hasn't been trained out of them yet.)

but those are creepy.

Re: The Creepiest Things a Child Has Ever Told It's Parents

I mean, I don't necessarily think they indicate anything real... But some of them are real creepy.

There was another from the original reddit article where some woman was holding her daughter who was deathly afraid of "The bad man" standing in a darkened corner of the room, and when the woman turned to look there, a lamp in the corner suddenly fell over and smashed on the floor.

Pretty creepy.

If the subconcious memory is where memories of the soul lie, then this stands to reason. I'm not saying it's not unusual, but to me it makes perfect sense.

When I was working as a cashier, I remember this one lady's little girl kept saying stuff like, "Color! Color! Their bodies rubbing together!"

Life (and its nature thereof) can be even more complicated than we think sometimes.

For the record, I don't have any firm ideas or belief in things like reincarnation one way or the other, but stuff like these kid's comments definitely trips my creepometer into the red zone.

I read the following somewhere...

Mom and young son go to a dinner for breakfast. As part of the plesantries, the waiter asks the kid what would he have for breakfast. HE replies "I want to eat the soul of your unborn".

Mom quicly replied "He wants eggs".

It's serious. The reddit article is much longer. The photos aren't the actual kids though. Added for creepy effect, I think.

I have a 2 1/2 year old son and he talks like an adult. Surprisingly so. He often uses words such as "otherwise, rather, appreciate, etc." appropriately. That said, some kids are more verbal than others, especially at that age.

Anyway, I'm sufficiently creeped out.

I'm not claiming reddit as a news source, just pointing out a creepy article. They may be fake, but kids say enough creepy things to at least make these plausible in my opinion.

And some little kids do speak in a surprisingly adult sounding manner.

Plus, assuming these actually happened, the quotes are not exact quotes, but the way a parent is describing what their kid said.

Re: The Creepiest Things a Child Has Ever Told It's Parents

My mate told me this creepy ass story when we were in our early teens:

His younger bro Josh who was about 4/5 at the time, well his mum found him stood at the window when checking in on him one night. She gently talked him to climbing back into bed. Naturally she then started peering round every time in the night when she was up, and he would be stood by the window, everytime she'd talk him back to bed. It was as though he was sleepwalking..

So this went on for a coupla weeks until one night, a bit fed up his mum asked "Why do you keep getting up and standing there Josh, go back to bed its late. He turned and replied "Im talking to Jessica". "Jessica who? Theres nobody there, go back to bed". "Shes there".

His mum calmly talked him back to bed but behind closed doors freaked out because unbeknownst to Josh, he was one of two twins, his sister died at birth, they named her Jessica.

I never doubted this tale because one time we went into his house with a ouija board, his mum clocked it and went ape shit! "After everything thats gone on in this house"
