This will be my first MotoGP season. I've watched a few races from last year, and saw the documentary that mainly focused on Rossi. Can't Wait

Find the first "FASTER". It spends much time on the transition from 2 strokes to the 4 strokes.

Also find ANY round up of of the TT.

And then... There was this guy..

I try to get into the current format, but I miss the 500cc 2-stroke era. Maybe I'm just older and not as into racing. Maybe the racing was more entertaining.

Canadian Superbike used to be good to watch. Not so much these days. All the guys I loved watching in the glory days of WSB and WSS are gone.

Russell vs. Fogarty, Edwards vs. Bayliss .......... I can't relate to the guys now. Don't get me wrong I still enjoy watching it.

I am a Rossi fan

It's a bonus to hear him in the post race interviews

in Rossi voice: "...is a berry berry fast track...has berry berry long corners and is not aaaa easy track...berry fast, yes yes berry fast..."

Re: Ahoy Neofelis! (Moto GP noise)

Netflix currently has "Fastest" on instant view. I've watched it 4 times in the last few months.

It also had a doc on Troy Bayliss, but I can't seem to find it anymore (watched that a couple of times too)

And then I purchased the 2011 TT review, which is over 3.5 hours long (watched that about 4 times the last few months).

You could say I'm obsessed.

Making plans to get to Indy this August. Considered, hard, going to the TT this year, but am thinking next year is better. Still in the air though...

Marquez should do well. He has the talent and the size to dominate in MotoGP.

Mladin started early in GP and then went down to AMA. He was a WSB level talent at least but the Yoshimura ride was too good to leave I guess. Still, I think he should tried to get into WSB. Six titles or seven? That got old.

Hayes wants to go to WSB but he's kinda old and not getting any offers. Despite the fact that he has performed well on a MotoGP bike. I think he could do well. He's earned my respect.

Man I've watched that movie so many times my wife can't stand it. The opening scene still gives me chills.

Another rider who has earned my respect is Lorenzo. He's a hard charger with a lot of talent and a lot of heart. One championship may leave some doubt. Two championships shuts up all critics.

(Spies Road Atlanta Race 2 2008. I think the first year after they changed turn 12. It only cost Miguel 2 broken ankles and a punctured lung!)

really is a shame how Schwantz is being treated , he did a lot off work for that track, the track owners pulled a total douche moves, first in cutting him out of the deal and then tossing him out of the track

I've been following this also and the CotA is not doing themselves any favors
and basically shooting themselves in the foot with this treatment of Kevin.
I hope Kevin gets what he deserves for all the work he's done to get the
race in Texas. The only thing I wish would happen is Speed would put
all the races on in a block. Last year I have to watch races after 10pm
and that kind of sucks. Better then nothing I guess.

Apparently those pictures were only taken a day or two ago. Crazy. I didn't think that part of the world EVER gets hit with that kind of snow.

Also...I follow the "motorcycling" category on the app Flipboard. Spotted this story yesterday concerning MotoGP TV coverage in the US for this season.

MotoGP Signs Multiyear Deal with Fox Sports

Quote:
Dorna Sports, the commercial rights holder of MotoGP, has announced that it has singed a multi-year deal with Fox Sports to broadcast races on the newly announced multi-sport Fox Sports 1 from 2013 through 2015.

This is significant broadcast news for U.S. MotoGP fans. In the U.S., SPEED will cover all races live from the season opener April 7 at Qatar until the first U.S. round Aug. 18 – the Red Bull Indianapolis Grand Prix.
I've already been in touch with my cable provider to get Speed Channel Previous provider included it standard, but my current does not.
