Hello NY/NJ area MLP members ! I am trying to organize the first ever MLP Jersey Jam !! It will be held at AArius rehearsal studios in Sayreville NJ on Saturday December 1st starting at about 1 pm and should go till at least 5 pm . I'm not sure how long it will go , That will depend on how many people I can get to come ! The studio rate is $25 per hour which will be split evenly by whoever comes to the event , The more people who come the cheaper it will be for all .. I believe our administrator Alex may even make a guest appearance !! I am posting the website for AArius studios so people can take a look ! Please contact me if you intend to come as I need a headcount ! Obviously walk in's are welcome but it would be better if you contact me first .. Please call or Email me ASAP !! It should be a great time for all COME JAM WITH US IN JERSEY !!!!

I have a 4 hour block booked already but if demand warrants it I will try to extend it !! Amps are supplied at the studio !! They have an excellent selection of gear to choose from !! They do have a large selection of amps at the studio but if players have a combo or amp they can get there easily I would suggest bringing it just in case we get a big turnout and there are more players than amps !

Oh, btw, just for some MLP consumption... The OTHER les paul forum is also having a Jam. (Staten Island) NY NJ PA It's Dec 2nd Kinda funny. The organizer (a nice guy, by the way) made the mistake of calling it the first annual TheLesPaul forum Jam. Lily put the kabash on that thread...... But it's still going on less the lespaulforum name and Lily's seal of approval.

I had absolutely no idea about the other place having a Jam and the only reason it's on The 1st is because there is a huge guitar clinic going on at that studio the original date I booked it for and didn't want it to be a logjam of people ! I dont care if we play as The Old Farts forum !! Come out and Jam in Jersey !! Saturday Dec 1st at 1pm !!!!!

I believe we have a drummer coming to the Jam and possibly a bass player too ! At the very least I believe someone is bringing a bass guitar to use ! I would think bringing some extra gear couldn't hurt especially personal amps etc !

The studio I'm having the Jam at does not allow alcohol in the premisis but I'm sure you could have a cold one or two out in the lot !! If it will get you to come I'll buy the first round !!
