I got a brand new SG Standard at GC back in '03. I get the mail yesterday and there's a thank you card by some employee I've never heard of saying; "Hope you are enjoying your new SG!" I'm thinking

that was 5 years ago!

I got a $50 gift card last month from them because I am a 'good customer'. My wife was ticked because it was to me - in my name - but she has purchased way more from them than me! LOL!

As much hating there is going on towards GC, I happen to love mine. The manager is cool, always swings me deals and the salespeople are good. A while back I posted in here that they busted my acoustic, but the manager gave me a new one. That sealed the deal for me. I will always shop there unless management changes and the salespeople become retarded. I have to drive about 30 minutes to get there, but it's worth it for me.

They send me alot of gift cards, $ off this and that. I still buy my strings and picks
at GC, and even an amp, if I could find one I liked that didnt cost a freaking fortune.
But no more guitars. (I say that now) I take that back, I'm in the market for an
AS Tele, and there prices are pretty decent, and nobody else around here stock them.
Nor does Saul, so, not much of a choice. They keep the nicer ones way-up-high so
the rif-raf and get there hands on them!

I get that tuff too, got a few $25 cards good for anything and they also send me 10% off any single item but there are lots of exceptions but Gibson and Gibson Custom Shops are NOT excluded. I used one to buy my 07R8 for $2600 and change.
