Phyllis Diller R.I.P.

Phyllis Diller has passed away at the age of 95. In all fairness, I thought she had passed a long while ago.

Somehow I was comfortable with the illusion that she would always be around. RIP to a very funny lady.

I started liking Phyllis Diller when I was a kid and used to do her laugh. My first impersonation. RIP Phyllis.

The first time I ever caught wind of this chick was when she was on Scooby Doo a bunch of times in the 80's, then when I finally saw her in person I knew exactly who she was because of SD. She was a funny lady.

You beat me to the Scooby reference

Yeah, I thought she was in her 90's around 35 years ago. She was a class act. This is a big loss.

RIP

And definitely one of a kind and an innovator. Okay, she didn't sing, but don't you think Madonna, Lady Gaga, et al have taken a few clues??? RIP Phyliss, you were one funny lady.
