While I'm not a big fan of the style of music(err mostly because of the vocals), I dig your playing. I hope you have a lot of fun with that guitar, good sir.

I like it. It's a little too saturated for my tastes. The low B sounds so sick though. THUD.

I thought that I heard a delivery truck pull up.

I paused your clip to go look outside and the truck-sound went away.

Re: a little jamming on the new 7 string =)

dimarzio d acitvators installed, along with 3 way switch, single volume, bypassed tone knob.... straight to the brain! well... almost, its a volume there, but i wanted to have that.

i also put a new set of strings on, dunlop heavy core 10-60

these help with drop tuning tremendously

i really like the pups.... they almost sound active, but not quite. a very unique tone =)

ill get clips up later on =)

Nice.

Nothing like chugging on some low string metal riffs. It may not be quite my style anymore, but it's still fun every once in a while.

i am really digging them!

i had almost forgotten how good they sound, i sold my old 7 string with d activators about 2 years ago or so.

for anyone thinking about going active, i say try these instead! no batteries and awesome high gain tone! im amazed at how much clarity the low B has, drop A, even drop G still boast tons of clarity, even with tremendous amounts of gain... this is true both for bridge AND neck positions amazingly enough!

OH DUDE!

For some reason, when we were chatting the other day, I assumed we were talking about your 2HB Strat.

I've been somewhat absent from the forum between the Philly show and my relocating of ReWind HQ. I guessed I missed some action!

Well, HNGD and I think the PUs/knobs look badass in it too! I've got a MetalZone you can have, if you want.

Lovin' it! How about a clean demo? I like the way the D-Activators sound clean. Very chimey, almost like a single coil.

Re: a little jamming on the new 7 string =)

I had an Ibby 7 string about,..oh...11 years ago?

The whole thing came apart on me after about a year, really spoiled me on Ibbys. (probably partly my fault, I was hard on gear and didn't take care of it.)

But still,...a 7 string LP would be kinda fun. I've been wanting a 'shredder/24 fret' guitar for a little while, mostly for teaching.

I really like the Ibanez S series guitars (those whammy systems they build are incredible)

A 7 string would be fun though,...an 8 string would be too actually (Schecter makes a decent one.)

I just know I wouldn't use them very much though. Kinda like my Strat. I love it, wont get rid of it,....but I still only play it like,...maybe one day a month?

LP's just feel right.

I think part of it is just the size of an LP. It's not a big guitar,...probably appeals to my violin fetish or something.
