Guess it don't matter then.

It would depend on how long the item had been in stock and hadn't moved. Something everyone else considered "fugly", you might get below dealer cost, because keeping inventory costs them money. Something relatively fresh isn't going to go for less than cost-plus.

Re: "make an offer weekend sale"

I hear that a well modified Strat can fetch big bucks in trade in value. Why don't you see if you can trade your Strat (with the highly sought after barcode mod) straight up for a new les paul?

What you consider a reasonable offer may be what they consider cause to sling you from the premises by your collar and belt.

Re: "make an offer weekend sale"

I'd haggle just like I do overseas....Start at 20% and work up from there....Honestly....But it depends on how big your b*lls are....

Re: "make an offer weekend sale"

Take the MF price, less 15% (as if you had a coupon). That's probably as good as they'll do, if that. But what do I know? The worst thing they could do is say "no."

Re: "make an offer weekend sale"

10% is usually managers choice, so that's a no-brainer....Go for at least 25%...!!
