I hate to say it, but damn get back on the sauce and become awesome again.

I will admit to being a huge Aerosmith fan...but I also like the 70s Aerosmith and not so much the Aerosmith after Pump. I thought Pump was a good album but after that they have been on the decline with some spots of brilliance on Nine Lives and Honkin' on Bobo was a great album.

That said, I like the new song. Sure it's not Rocks or Wings quality, but I wasn't expecting another Rocks. This song beats anything they released as a single in the last 15-20 years or so. If you are expecting another Rocks, it's not going to happen...but if you are looking for a solid, hard rocking album from Aerosmith in 2012, I think you will be pleased. Of course there will be a few ballads but I believe the majority of the album will be a solid, hard rock, Aerosmith album.

As far as Steven's side projects like Idol and the Burger King commercial...I don't have a problem with it. The only problem I have is when Idol gets in the way of his commitments with the band which is why this album has been delayed as long as it has.

Just a thought, but I think that has something to do with it for some people. I know plenty of people have gotten on his case for that, I wonder if they're allowing that to cloud their judgement, and they're not judging the song as is.

Since I stopped it on the first listen after about 30 seconds I went back and started listening at the 1 minute mark. A little better but still not up to snuff I say. Opps I just farted. WOW, now that sounded pretty good in comparison.

i used to love the 70's stuff, then i found out others did Lead work on Get Your wings, and that they ripped off the Dolls.
i still like the 70's stuff but i mean... come on already.
