Just got in from teaching.. ( A 60 mile round trip ) It's now 3:20pm and I have to be down in Bridport by around 7:30pm to help set up..I'm picking up Mutter Slater on the way so he can have a drink and not drive. Lucky I only drink soft drinks.

It's boiling hot here and I'm sweating like a pig..I still have to take the dogs out and install a new a toilet seat in the annexe for when everyone comes round tomorrow aftenoon. The old one broke the other day..( Sods law)..

Yep, so playing guitar tonight is really something I dont relish in the slightest.
I'm just simply going to put my feet up with my elderflower presse and watch everyone else....

You should meet my eldest son Mindfrigg. He's a senior artist at Sky TV.
He started of doing realistic stuff, book covers etc and could paint a hand you'd think was a photograph, but realised it was too time consuming for what it paid and went into computer art instead. He used to work for Cartoon Network doing loads of ads and all that Skatoony stuff.

I too arrived at that same conclusion years ago. Studio art is basically dead. I teach and paint in the classroom, but at home do primarily 3D modeling and graphics, working toward music videos (of my own).Might send a few stills if you're curious. I teach animation as well, principally stop motion. Students love Aardman Productions stuff.
Would love to meet him. Aspire to coming to England next year, but it remains to be seen, finance wise.
This is a long shot and a bit aside, but since he is in TV, he might know of the brother of a friend of mine(convoluted enough?) He's a videographer for the BBC, or was. Name's Cosmo (that's right!) Campbell. They were Londoners ,(the family).

Looked at the links. Wow, very professional! Creative and versatile. You should be proud.

I have a signed book of his work that my son got me..I loved his work and still prefer it to much of the modern computer amimated stuff.

I'll ask my son about Cosmo when I speak to him next..He might well know him.
