and it's appreciated. It's nice to know I'm not just throwing songs into the ether and that there's people that actually dig my odd music.

Had a great time tonight playing a solo gig at a party, doing too many shots, and singing with some cool people.

Very nice to come home and read some nice comments as well.

You guys kick ass, thanks for the kind words.

And no I'm definitely not the hot chick in my avatar. I'm an ugly Italian dude. I took that screen cap from one of my favorite cheesy movies: Aliens VS Ninjas.

(I have this thing for hot asian chicks you see.)

Re: in honour of malikon

With his chops, teaching ability, strong opinions, Malikon is an awesome asset to this site.

Also, he knows that the kids still want to learn Nirvana songs. Effin cool. If this thread ends up in ashes because I typed the dreaded N word (no not that one, the mlp N word), I apologize.

Good man, Malikon.

Well Mal, the bar's been raised pretty high, can you handle it?

BTW I'm digging the D.Allens.

Don't knock the benefits of webbed feet. I can swim with the dolphins.

You guys are too nice. I just like playing guitar and sharing it.

Nothing special, just a redneck with a big electric fiddle.

Re: in honour of malikon

nah not me. I learned a long time ago having a big ego about the guitar is just stupid. It's not rocket science. You could be the greatest guitar player in the world,.....big deal. It's not like you're a brain surgeon saving lives or something.

It's just music, music's fun. Guitar's fun to play. That's about it.

I'm more proud of some of my students then I am myself. I think I suck and should give up at least twice a week, lol.
