you clearly don't get fashion, but that's fine. Here's the thing, though. People who DON'T get fashion bash people who do FAR more than vice versa. If I don't bitch about you coming to work in hefty bags, WHY the need to bitch about my 350 dollar pair of jeans? Let these people have their kicks. I personally think those Galaxy sneakers are hideous but if they like them, great. I'll keep wearing my Lucchese's which most of the Nike crowd wouldn't be caught dead in. BUT, I support and get why they like them.

I have a closet full of 60 dollar tee shirts that only hit the drier on low and spin for an hour. They look as new as the day I bought them. Clothes CAN last a lifetime if you take care of them.

As a sneaker head I always shake my head when reading all this stuff. I have a feeling that Nike really wants this to happen for publicity which equals $$$.

Also the shoes are overrated beetle boots.

Shirts can last me forever but shoes and work boots don't last me a long time at all.

I go through a few pairs of sneakers a year, not because of fashion, but because I'm just hard on them. They fall apart or wear out on the bottom, doesn't matter the brand. Usually skate shoes hold up better for me. They are made really tough with extra layers and stitching and such.

thats cool. I have my utility/work shoes and I have my dressy stuff, too. I understand having a pair of kicks to go clubbin' in. I don't do that sort of thing but I get it. All my nice stuff can at least be resoled if need be. But I still get it.
