Sure, Rock etc has always been my favorite, but hey, every music scene has it's good and bad. So my point is don't be quick to condemn a certain musical style or direction, cause you are sure to be proven wrong my some artist or song at some point.

+1 theres at least 1 song from every genre I like,
but if i had to choose i would say todays rap,they talk about the most retarded things you could ever think about or take a rock song and ruin it into a rap song.old school rap was at least better,they actually talked about there struggles in life,and expressed them self threw it.

Hey St Bede, funny you should mention yodeling.. I'm on tour with Jewel and as her final song of the set she does some yodeling. She's damn good at it too.

As far as what music I hate I really only hate corporate manufactured crap. Boy bands, Hannah Montana, that kind of crap. Music designed to sell you something.

I spent some time out that way with bands.. The scales they use are quite fascinating. They have notes in between notes that we use. Not the sort of thing I'd buy as an album, but never the less quite interesting from a musical aspect.

Modern country aint "Country", Bob Wills is Country, Hank IS Country. I think we need a few more catagories like a hole in the head, but really the monikor "Country" is way too broad.

If It has a dance beat I do call it Disco though, so I'm broad and inconsistant at times.
