Re: Site Changes - Suggestions?

Not to beat a dead horse, but I'd suggest maybe changing the word "Vintage" to "Early" in the Vintage Les Pauls section, and maybe adding a section for 25+ Years Old.

I wish the thread wouldn't disappear after you've read it, I mean when you hit "new posts". Does anyone understand what I mean?

Yep, I actually like it. Reduces the posts to a number where you perhaps don't want to read any more. Then just Mark Forums Read

Re: Site Changes - Suggestions?

I prefer the new posts since last visit, rather than new posts since last read. That is if i drop in at 5pm then again at 6pm I only want to see the red LP next to pubs that have new posts since 5pm not red LPs next to everything I havent yet read, because alot of stuff Im just not gonna read, but it makes it hard to tell If I should go into the pub or not. For clarification, If I log off right now, and log right back on, I would prefer not to see any Red LPs, because there are no new posts since my last session.

Thread delete for classifieds

Can we get a thread delete option for classifieds? so that once it sells I can delete the thread.

Sorry but the delete thread feature is currently not available to members. However, I will look into making that possible for the Classifieds forum. In the meantime, what you can do is either edit your own post and make changes to your original listing, or ask a mod to close your thread which will eventually get lost with the newer threads.

Id say FLick, Man Aside from some things already mentioned, Like deleting classified threads of items sold I think with as many members as we have so far pretty smooth sailing

Re: Site Changes - Suggestions?

hmmmm...

how 'bout a chat upgrade?

like actually incorporating an instant messaging system into the forum?

that'll TOTALLY blow away the other forums

might be easier said than done though..

Re: Site Changes - Suggestions?

Ok .. Suggestion #1 .. How about adding more detailed sections like instead of pickups and effects being in tonefreaks ! Make a seperate effects section and seperate pups section ! More to come !!

Jason I could be wrong, but I thought this forum was predominately about Les Pauls specifically, and other guitars and related gear a bit as well
IF we wound up with a bunch of drummers piping in about guitars OMG all I can say is I smell trouble !!!!!!!!!!!!
