Harmony Central users / posters

Its a site I use and have posted to, Anyone else find it useful digging info and input on gear?

I used to post on the Harmony Central guitar forum, but then it all went tits-up in 2001 or thereabouts, so I started over at LPF.

HC can be OK for gear info, but the reviews can vary wildly IMO. Some will give rave 10/10 and then the very next review can give 1/10. So I think you have to be a bit wary.

Oh for sure, I wade thru a bit of crap , but you can definitly tell who knows what by the amount of good info , I see what I call " spoiled brat syndrome" it isnt / wasnt everything they thought it was, over hyped ect or they just dont know how to work it

It's been helpful to me, but I read all of the reviews and try to separate
the wheat from the chaff as it were. I put together what I see as good or
bad from each review. Whats consistent in each . I also listen to the tone
and see if it's a grudge or honest feelings.
I also search the net for other reviews .

Then I make my decision and hope I'm right .

Pretty much what I have done myself , wht gets me is those who's grudge post is less than ten words or less I look at guys playing at least somewhat similar styles with similar axe's for the most part . for the good posters there, when you do find the wheat, its many times straighter than what your gonna read outta the trade rags
