I'm not bitter, in fact it was ALOT of fun. The univision network is a spanish network and I had friends that worked there. I ended up fitting one description and I got the gig. 7hrs in the freezing Times Square and got paid $120.

This wasn't an "I live for this" type of deal. I wasn't interested in this at all. I hated it in fact and I get very nervous. Only reason I dabbled in it was because my brother lived for auditions. Through his connections I nabbed a few jobs here and there.
In Ecuador we were considered "Foreign" so we got used alot when we went there (every 6 months). Only reason I went was because the modeling agencies had a roster of at least 50 girls and there was a party every night of the week.

So I am not bitter and in fact I enjoyed that aspect of my life. That lasted 3-4 years. I'm 27 now and have no interest in that field. I doubt i'd be getting phone calls anyway. I know alot of people that spend their day going from audition-to-audition. It's really a cruel industry. Not as "glamorous" as they make it out. In fact in every audition I was in... In the waiting room there was always the director coming out with a headshot asking who it was. When the person stood up, he said "Get out, you're too fat" or "Come back when you lose 20lbs" in front of everyone.

I was not interested in a manager, promotor, agent OR MONEY! I'll be honest and say that the only reason I did it was to meet girls... and that I DID!

Well my mistake then. Sometime the internet leave a lot to be desired
when reading typed words and not talking directly to a person.

From my experiences , I don't think 99% of Entertainment gigs are as Glamorous
as most people out of the industry think they are . Most pretty much suck after our
excitement for getting the gig wears off . Also I think in general, most other jobs in
the world have to deal with cruel bosses and crap jobs .

Also from reading what you got paid, in the conditions you had to deal with
in Times Square, that they RIPPED you off. I bet they didn't tell you , that you should've been paid additional money ( Rain Pay, Golden Time exct ......... Sag & SEG Rules ) whenever you're put into ruff conditions.

Flick could tell ya more about this part . I'm sure he knows about the industry pay scale much better than me.

Flick has some good Ideas for your Biz. I'd concider what he has to say. Really !
