Jeff Beck Wailing on his Ox Blood Les Paul 1974

YouTube - Jeff Beck 1974 part 1

Looks like he's using a pick as well.

You can feel that Fusion thing slipping in. Cool transitory rock here.

Great to see and hear him on a Les Paul.

That's cool. I like his eclectic playing...you never know where he's going next.

Could be a wig, or just a dye job,
He was the first guitarist i really thought was great! The Yardbirds was one of my
favorite bands when i was a teen, I first seen them in the Movie Blow Up doing that
song Stroll On which is the original version of Train Kept A Rollin and was a fan
ever since. Actualy the first really big concert i went to was to see Jeff Beck Group

Stuff like this makes Youtube worth sifting thru all the other junk on there; it truly can be awesome most of the time.

Re: Jeff Beck Wailing on his Ox Blood Les Paul 1974

I thought Richie Blackmore's comment about Beck summed it up:

'Jeff Beck? He gets notes that aren't even on my guitar.'
