DSLR Autofocus....
Wont focus. All of a sudden my Pentax K200D autofocus quit on me.
I made sure it was in AF mode. Any ideas??  I tried a different lens,same thing.

Know very little about Pentax but...
Do you have another lens to try on the body? EDIT: Never mind... Sometimes I don't read too well. Try removing and reinstalling the battery... |

Any luck? Do you do a lot of lens switching? Make sure the contacts on the lens and body are both clean and undamaged. Hopefully the AF mechanics in the body did not go south. I am a huge fan of pentax. I have had the k100d and k10d and some old film stuff but I have never really worked or repaired them.

No luck. I mainly just use the lens that came with it,although i have used my 25 year old K1000 lens before. I tried anothers lens but nothing.
I'm gonna try the firmware update again after i read through it again. Thanks.

That sucks. I would be interesting to hear how it turns out. I have a K10D and the warranty is long gone I suspect.
