What if I took the pick-ups out, turned them around and put them back in

Like...

If I took the pick-up out of the body, turned it around and put it back into the body. Would it make it sound any different?

I'm not going to do this, its a theoretical question, but I was thinking maybe the different positon of the magnets would give a different tone or something.

Yes. I believe that's part of the Peter Green mod, is it not?

I did that on my R9, and I think it made the pickup a little less "woofy" sounding.

Just a smidgen (that's a technical term...lol) brighter to my ears.

I think I am going to try that out.

I'll get that cool reverse-zebra look and maybe brighter, worth a shot.
