Guitar Cables

Hello MLPr's.
How do you you rate a great guitar cable? What are the things you look for?
I currently use monster cable between my guitar>ts80>amp. I want to make a couple of patch cords for my effects loop (return and send for EQ and delay) and maybe to add a wah on the floor but I don't know how to buy cable and ends. Can someone point me in the right direction?
Thanks.

Re: Guitar Cables

Ozone,

These are the patch cables I use (George L's) and this sight is the lowest price I found them for.

George L's Pedal Board Cable for Guitar Effects Pedalboard, Racks, Speakers, RCA

Good luck.

Re: Guitar Cables

i have and use belden wire ,...they have every type of insulated wire for anything ,....
Belden

and also look into digikey,...they carry hard to find parts and have a very friendly tech support

Digi-Key Corporation - USA Home Page

some have made claims that solid core wire is the best for conductivity ,...some say braided ,....braided is alot more flexible and easier to work with ,.....
mogami is a great & very flexible.

here is mouser electronics too they have a ton of wires and connectors ,...kinda the same as digikey
Audio/Video Connectors

heres another place i bought some elco's from they also carry audio connectors and such
