'58 explorers what tuners?

what tunersw did they use back then? Kluson ovals alà Strat?

Kluson single lines, just like a Les Paul, except set up for six on a side.

I've found some pics( not many as less than 50 explorers wee ever produced in 1958 )that support what has been said:

more like 19 in 58, 3 in 59 and a few left in 63 bringing to around 36 made
