New but have been lurking.
New to the site, but have been lurking for a while. I am just getting back into guitar after selling mine about 12 years ago. I am still new to guitar overall, and wanted to pick something decent up to start back with, so I picked up a Epi LP Special II Hot Rod flames Lmited used from my local Music shop for a good deal. I also picked up a Roland Cube 30 from a friend, and love it's sound overall but the Pickups are a little weak on the Epi. I plan to change them out for a '59/JB setup from Seymour Duncan. Anyways, I decided to start playing again to get both of my daughters into music and into playing the guitar, so I plan on picking them up 2 Squire Hello Kitty youth guitars for christmas. I am sure I will find a lot more usefull info here as I continue to surf the threads.
Not a huge fan of the flames, but it was the best guitar to begin on at the local shop. You don't see very many of them with the flames.
