What pickups would be best for

Metal. I just want that thickest, crunchiest sound you can possibly get. I mean Thicker and crunchier than EMG's through a Marshall Full! Thicker than Zakk Wylde's. How can I get that?

Re: What pickups would be best for

Are you tuning down at all, or using a thicker guage strings?

If you are and you still are not getting that, check out the WCR Iron man's. These are thick, thicker than any pickup I have ever played.

A buddy of mine has some Fat Ass pups in his Schecter(did I just spew blasphemy,haha)..He loves 'em although they aren't as articulate on lead work as the Mafia's and the Turbo's(he only plays rhythm)...If you email them Todd himself usually replies..I have emailed him a few times for info on fine tuning pups....
