My "New" 1988 Charvel Model 1

My Model 1 came in yesterday. It has some bumps and bruises here and there but hey, it is a 20+ year old guitar!

I cleaned and polished it, put new strings and set it up. Most importantly I removed the SD Sh-13 (installed by the previous owner) and installed an SH-10 that I had. The guitar sounds and plays very nice now. I am stoked.

80's metal riffs flow freely from this iconic guitar. I grew up in the 80's so I always wanted one for the collection.

Simple, elegant and effective. Of course being a Les Paul guy, the lack of a floating trem made the model one even more desirable!
