It's a fuzzy, delayed new pedal day!

Just went to 30th Street Guitars in NYC and picked up 2 new pedals.. the Zvex Fuzz Factory and the MXR Carbon Copy Delay. Been jonesing for the delay for a while, and have had fuzz on the mind this week.. was about to get the Fender Blender pedal, but the odd size of it dissuaded me, as it wouldn't really fit on my board.. ive heard great things about the Fuzz Factory, should be fun!

Hope this is not a dumb question, but don't the Fuzz Factory and the Metal Muff create the same effects? I just started collecting analog pedals recently, so that's why I'm asking. I just got the Zvex Box of Rock yesterday, and it is the best box I own, bar none.

PS: I love the Carbon Copy delay...real sweet.

They *can* produce similar effects, but they can *also* produce ENTIRELY different sounds.. the Fuzz Factory gets more of a thick, noisy demented fuzz tone at its heaviest, and the Metal Muff does buzzing, tight shredding metal at it's heaviest.. I guess if you tweaked both you could get them to sound similar, but for me they both serve different purposes.
