Toothpick fix?
The tuners on my ancient old epi les paul are falling out. I grabbed a new set of Wilkinson Klusons, but when I went to remove the old ones, almost half of the screws just fell right out
![]() I'm hoping this toothpick trick works. I've heard it mentioned often, never tried it myself... not yet anyway |

Re: Toothpick fix?
A little wood glue, a toothpick or tow and you are good. The wood used on those guitars in pretty soft, and they put the screws in with machines, so buggered screw holes are not uncommon.
