My first try...with a question

Hi all !

I've been surfing this site for a while now and decided to go on with the project of building my very first guitar. First of all, I would like to thank everybody who posted building thread on this forum. It represent an incredible amount of information and the best place for me to learn. For this reason, I'm not gonna go through every steps in details, cause I barely copied everything I saw reading the different threads. So I'll post a few pics of where I'm up to... By the way, I'm pretty much new to woodworking and totally new to guitar building, so EVERY comments are welcome!

Re: My first try...with a question

I used the 12 degree radius block from stewmac to sand the fretboard, then bended the frets and pressed them in using my press drill equipped with the fret press caul from stewmac. I glued them in using krazyglue. After I was finished, I realized that the frets were not fitting nicely on the sides of the fretboard. So, my question is : is it a big issue that I should be worried about? Should I refret the fretboard, or simply do a new one? Here are some pics :

That's no good. Heat them with a soldering gun and pull them. Radius them to 8 in radius before tapping them in, that will keep the ends down.
