Re: wtf?
There is a user on here who used some gold vinyl (or gold leaf) to put dots on his BFG's fretboard. The strings shouldn't actually contact the wood close enough to peel off the sticker.
As for effecting the tone... I doubt it, why would it?

Re: wtf?
Oh and yes, they are to cover the dots and they would just peel right off if you picked at them enough.

Re: wtf?
LOL... I know exactly how you feel Randy........but.. I think I'm gonna buy a set of crosses to put on my black '67 re-issue. It should look good since everything else except the body and pups is chrome and mirrors. heck, if it does look cheesy, I'll just rip 'em off!

Re: wtf?
Just one?
![]() Actually... if you had a fretboard with no inlays, just one on the 12th fret would be pretty awesome.

Re: wtf?
I gotta say the Danzig skulls look pretty cool. Sorry...
![]() If someone has a Classic and hates their snot green inlays it's a cheap solution. I wouldn't put them on mine though. |

Re: wtf?
those would be cool on explorers and V's with the dot inlays, i always thought those necks were so . i put stickers on my squire strat about 15 years ago to dress it up. they havnt peeled off yet. they are glow in the dark skulls. they. look cool when theres a black light on.
you can kinda see them in this pic

Thought they were for dot inlays anyway. I'd play hell trying to put a sticker exactly over the top of trapazoid inlay. but that's just me. neet idea though |
