Stock Gibson pickup on my Custom Epi?

I recently posted a thread on the Epiphone Les Paul section regarding a pickup question I have. Stock Pickups Question

I bought an Epi LP Custom Alpine White a few months ago at Long & McQuade (Toronto) I changed all the gold hardware to chrome and I noticed that one of the stock pickups say Gibson on the back instead of Epiphone. Is this something any of you have seen before? is this normal? Do I have a stock Gibson Pickup on my Epi? See pictures attached.
