Satchurator Reviews?

Ok guys, it came out last Friday, has anyone got it yet? If so, you had all weekend to test it. Any reviews?

Re: Satchurator Reviews?

I've seen some reviews on youtube but haven't played it yet. It seems to hit the Satch tone nicely, but still doesn't have enough gain, IMO :P

Re: Satchurator Reviews?

I played witk one for about an hour at GC,I was very impressed of how all of the tonal dynamics wer still present even with the pedal ALL the way up! And then there is the more switch! it really gives you more! without a doubt this is one of the must have pedals out there period.dont you take my word for it, go check it out for yourself you wont regret it!....P.S. has gain for days.....

Re: Satchurator Reviews?

I concur with mojo.. I had a couple mins of doodle time with the Satchurator a couple weeks ago at a store and I am impressed with the note clarity that its able to give. It has really really sweet overtones to it, nothing harsh even with the gain all the way up. Very warm saturated distortion to it with a very usable tonal palette IMO.

The more switch is somewhat already preset and there's nothing you can adjust to tweak the settings.

But one thing the Satchurator will not do, is heavy chugga chugga high br00tal metal gain..

Re: Satchurator Reviews?

What would you say is the difference between the Satchurator and the MI Audio Crunchbox? I'm in a new pedal mode (again lol) and I'm really leaning towards the crunchbox.

When you're talented, you don't need much.. when you're me, you need to distract the audience with pretty blinking LEDs.

Ah the vox replaced his Keeley DS-1, interesting. I wonder if for promotion of the vox pedal or if he prefers it. I read it and the Keeley DS-1 are extremely close in tone.

Re: Satchurator Reviews?

I've been watching a bunch of clips on the Satchurator and it seems like a pseudo-fuzz pedal. The tone is nice, but not what I'm looking for.

Re: Satchurator Reviews?

I can see it more as a rhythm pedal and would really do great pushing a driven amp...

I see a digitech wammy...isn't that a tone killer?....I would think that satch would not rob any tone away for usefullnes.....

Re: Satchurator Reviews?

Hmmm, I wonder what that green Vox pedal is? It's not on there website, it has the same logo and Joe's Autograph on the back, same as the Satchurator, must be some SPECIAL Joe pedal.
