? about MM price. Soon please.

Ok I got my eyes on a dual pick up Melody Maker its in very good condition, black finish and asking 225$ for it. Does that seem like a fair price? I know a guitar is worth as much as you want to pay for it. But does that seem ball park fair? It does to me but dont want to get gouged I just dont know what these fetch and there seem to be none on ebay at the moment. Thanks!!

I guess you're talking about a Gibson MM? Well over here in the UK it would be a crime to let in go at that price.
