looking for my first guitar (or one like it)

Ibanez RG315 in red. I've been looking for a while and have come up with nothing... The only reason I want one is because it was my first guitar that I sold some 20 years ago... ever wish you could have your first guitar back? It looked like this one but was more red then the yellow that's in this one

Man, good luck with that. I rarely ever see any late 70's/early 80's Ibanez models for sale, whether that's the used selection at GC/SA, craigslist, or local ebayers. When they do pop up they go quickly, and some are becoming collector's items. All I can say is scour ebay, your local craigslist, and frequent the used sections of your nearby stores. And act quickly if you do find one!

They were great guitars - bound basswood bodies, fantastic rock maple necks, and pickups that (in some cases) were made by DiMarzio but branded as IBZ.

Here's a RG335 I found for $180 - they didn't know what they had and I didn't hesitate to snatch it up
