Stuck jack in a archtop

Ok, along with the teo damaged shipped guitars that i got from GC, my dad bought a nice Epiphone Dot delxue from the clearence area for around 100$, when it was 750$, it was totally perfect.... the only problem with it was the jack is inside the body......

HOW DO YOU GET IT OUT?!?!

Make a little wire hook in the end of a thin but stiff wire about 12-18" long and fish it out...if the hole in the side is too small, pull the jack through the f-hole and clip the solder joints close to the jack. You can patch the side any number of ways; a LP type jack plate is probably the easiest and cheapest. Resolder the connections on the jack and then you can use your fish wire to pull the jack thru the jack plate when it's ready to re-install.

ok, i didnt explain it well enough...

its like an SG: the hole is on the top...
