Re: Cap Values

ditto on 22 and 15, but I think I've got one neck cap on an LP that's higher than 22

Re: Cap Values

I put a .015 on the bridge, and a .022 on the neck by accident and like it.......

I feel dirty

Re: Cap Values

does the .015 and .022 combo work with all humbuckers? I ordered a set of WB BB customs and would like to know.

Re: Cap Values

some people like 22 for the necks too. For instance, in my SG project I have 2 22 nF VQs that read slightly under. My neck pickup is a custom 59 WB Overtones ( which is sweet, mellow and clear ) so I reckon 20 nF or so will sound better than 15.

Re: Cap Values

I've used both .015/.022 and .022/.022 and I prefer the later of the two.

Re: Cap Values

I always encourage folks to try a few different caps to find the sweet spot that works well for them .... anywhere from .010 through .047 can be used to get the roll off that works best for you. Caps are cheap and can really fine tune your tone.
