Throbak PAF Clip. WOW!!! I Love These Bad Boys!!!

No bull, I've had them over a couple weeks...and I like them more and more everytime I play them!!

Here's a clip I did today through my 1965 Deluxe Reverb. Straight in, no pedals. Just a little blues. Hope you like it.

Jon rewound a coil in one of my PAT#s on one of his PAF machines... he really saved the pup, it's killer now!

How do you like these compared to the PAFs you've owned? Still able to get a convincing ABB tone? You've tried a lot of pups; have you ever tried any Bareknuckles?

Nice licks there Grizzly Dan !!! I think I dug the Skatterbranes more , They were had a bit more attack and seemed a bit hotter !!! But your PAF's are the Sh*t !!!!!

You mean the A5's....yeah..maybe. I really love the way the Throbak's respond...and the harmonics and top end sizzle without being in the least harsh...is perfect for my 02 R8!!

The pickups sound great but seriously, you could make a Costco guitar sound good. You've definitely captured the Kirwan/Green sound. Love it, and no, apparently you don't need any stinking pedals.

I'm with you on the no pedals deal. Those Throbaks sound great. Nice playing and sweet tone as always. You didn't do the Greeny mod on these yet did you?... just trying to set the platform for the tone on these.

It's not your post causing the animosity. That's already been beat to death in another thread. Just keep posting killer tone videos and we'll just keep looking at them for what they are. A great guitar player trying out new pickups. Thanks.

I don't really care what any of these guys say. I care what they do.
It's easy to get rubbed the wrong way on forums. They also tend to be clickish. It's just the nature of people.

I care if they make an exceptional product. Period...

From what I've heard so far...Jon Gundry does, Will Boggs does, Dave Stephens does, Wolfe does, Spencer does...etc...

We are very luck to have so many people that are obsessing over the PAF tone. We really benefit from their hard work...
