What kind of P90's are the ones in this video?

They seem pretty hot to be p90's or i am not used to seeing people play with high gain on p90's. I don't have a p90 guitar so i dont know what they should sound like but i like this sound

Couldn't hear the guitar that much, lots of harp though.
P90s are HOT though.
Nice tight band. Good to see some folks sitting and enjoying rather that jumping and posing.

+1

Actually, the P90 guitar part of that performance was my least favorite. Sounds like post-guitar processing that pretty much makes the pickups incidental. I expect, and get, much more from mine - to my tastes.

WOA... talk about anorexic drummer...

Those look like standard Gibson black soapbar P90s. That tone sounds rather processed, though I wouldn't be supprised if there are very modern sounding caps and electronics in there.

I find P90s to be harsher, more grungy than that, that seems really smooth and Strat style screamy, rather than what I prefer from a P90.

After running it through a wah, overdrive, and probably his high gain channel there's really not much of the P90 tone left to comment on.
