My Les Paul is too shiny (;

Heya Guys (;

I was reading a couple of threads here and I must say I like this forum alot!

So my "problem" is:

I got an Epiphone Les Paul in Heritage Cherry Sunburst.

And I think my guitar is too shiny ):

So I was thinking about how I could make it smoother.

Btw, Im new to this whole Customizing thing.

(Sorry for my english.)

Thanks,
Zyl

heres a thread from a while back.
Dulling Poly Finished Guitars PIC HEAVY!!

be careful i kinda messed up my guitar doing so.(but i did it before the thread) dont use a kitchen spongue!too abrasive.

On the other hand if i cant fix my finish ill just relic it once my gold starts tarnishing.

Re: My Les Paul is too shiny (;

Perhaps with a 3m scouring pad(the red ones) just rubbing up and down in straight lines and then going the route rmc did it.just replace the palm sander with your hands.Be careful though and you might also get a texture on it as you went in straight lines.

wait till someone else chimes in though.
