Kramer American Pacer

I have always been a LP guy, but I couldn't resist this one when I saw it in the pawnshop. Got a killer deal on it as well! It's a late 86/early 87 Kramer American Series Pacer. These were actually built by ESP and assembled by Kramer. They came with Seymour Duncan SSL-1 singles and a JB in the bridge and an original Floyd. I'm not too big on the JB pickup, so I'm going to try either a Seymour Custom Custom or maybe the EVH 78. I bought it with the intentions of re-selling it, but after I cleaned it up and restrung it, I think I'm just going to hang onto it for awhile. This thing has the fastest neck I have ever played. It's pretty heavy too for a strat style. Not a bad score for $150 bucks!

I had this same guitar back in the 90s. Same color, but Chrome Floyd. The neck was hatched. So I took it off and threw on a rock maple ESP neck with ebony fretboard. The neck had the goofy Snoopy nose Explorer look. lol

But to this day, that Pacer maple body with the ESP neck.... it remains 1 of THE most awesome axes I ever played. I wished I still owned it. Awesome find dude.
