Strong-Armed

So, as with some other guys, I've been strong-armed into joining this most excellent guitar forum. A little about myself…

I own one Les Paul, an ebony '94 Standard, which now has a Seymour Duncan JB (bridge) and '59 (neck). His name is Thor, and he tries to mate with my G&L ASAT when I go upstairs after practice. Naughty.

I drive an '07 Toyota RAV4. It's a sort of tannish-gold, and I once off-roaded with it when I accidentally ran over a curb.

I'm allergic to uncooked apples, kiwi fruit, pitted fruits, and certain tree nuts, but don't tell Skeletor that my real weakness is iron pyrite.

If I weren't nine years old at the time, I probably would've openly wept when the Beatles broke up.

I have long hair, but it's only been that way for about 1-1/2 years. Before then, I always had short hair. This is not important information, but I'm sharing it with you anyway because I like you very much.

Barrels are an oft-misunderstood piece of the sub-atomic puzzle. Like muons, barrels are negatively charged particles with a relatively short mean lifetime. However, unlike most other unstable particles, barrels are capable of releasing ground vectors, which convert light quanta into fibrous particle arrays. And, as everyone knows, fibrous particle arrays turn into jellybeans.

Oh, that's true. I don't have any of them here, but when I get home I'll get a hold of 'em. I should take some updated pics, since I've got all nine frames for the Beatles Wall now. Also, I've opened the dungeon to the public because they're a bunch of sick oiixers.

There are lots of very cool and knowledgeable guys on that forum, but this forum strikes me as equally cool and knowledgeable. (And, like that forum, this one seems to have a little drama here and there.

Someone asked me to post some pics of my gear. You've seen Thor already, so here are some of my other buddies:

As you can see, I name my guitars after Norse gods and goddesses, because I'm French Canadian.

I also have a 2001 Mexican Tele and a 1986 Kramer Focus 3000. That Kramer was one of my first guitars, and I don't think I'll ever let it go. Too many fond memories.

For amps, I use a Mesa Single Rec, Vox AC30 (RI), Fender Super Reverb (RI), Fender Super Champ (early-80s) or Celtic Caitlin (tweed Fender Tremolux clone).

I've got a crapload of pedals, too. GAS struck here.
