Mini-humbuckers and P90s

Are mini-humbuckers and P90s the same size? Can I swap one out for the other without bringing out a router?

Re: Mini-humbuckers and P90s

actually mini humbucker are smaller than p90's. mini humbucker will only fit in p90 cavities if the mini hums have the pickups rings. But if you want to lets say put a p90 in a firebird with mini hums it wont fit because its just made for the mini hums

Re: Mini-humbuckers and P90s

I used to have a LP Deluxe in the '70s,and I put a P-90 in the bridge and kept the front stock with the mini....sounded great.I believe I even swapped them around with the same great results.
