Melody Maker -68

Hello guys.
As some of you might have seen, I just bought my first LP a couple of days ago, but I'm already lookin' for new stuff.
Guess I'm trapped.

Anyways, I found this Melody Maker on the web here in Sweden.
He says it's from 1968. It had its neck repaired once and the pups aren't original even though it looks to be in pretty good condition to me after just been looking at the pic.

Right now he wants around 1.100$ for it.

What do you think, is it worth it?

Whats the serial number in that thing?

FYI, a '68 Melody Maker uses the SG body style. That's probably from 'late '61 to early '64.

i don't think thats a vintage 1, or if it is, it's not a 68, looks to be a modded 65 version, or the melody maker 2

$1100.0 is $600.00 too much

The seller insist's this is an -68...
Serial is 0924599

That serial number doesn't add up. Are you sure that's what it is?
